Senior Technical Writer

Get hired by a US-based company focused on the US, UK, and European markets. This would include travel to the US office located in California.

The ideal candidate is an outstanding writer with hands-on web-based application software writing experience, and a proven ability to write content targeted to professional audiences.

Responsibilities

1. Work closely with editorial, development, customer support, product management, services, and various other teams to develop high-quality technical content for a targeted audience.
2. Draft, maintain, and edit content for multiple deliverables, including release notes and user guide.
3. Manage multiple projects and work as an integral part of the product team.
4. Prepare content for online delivery.
5. Test product functionality while writing documentation.
6. Learn and apply Insaito's writing style, minimalist approach.
7. Learn the Insaito product.
8. Provide regular updates to manager on project status.
9. Assist the larger team on shared projects with supervision and assistance.

Skills and Experience

1. Experience implementing or working with web-based software preferred.
2. Some experience with authoring tools.
3. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
4. Thorough analytic skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to work effectively in a busy environment and prioritize to meet deadlines.
6. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
7. Background in education is a plus.
