What we're looking for
This position is a Technical Proposal Writer/Manager role within the Sales function focussed on creating technical proposal documents, canned content, outreach, and slideware. This role collaborates with project managers, sales, solution architects, subject matter experts, and customers to craft solid, qualitative, and value-driven proposal responses. As a Proposal Writer/Manager, you will get exposure to the following types of projects and roles:
- Sales: Responsible for coordination to understand the service requirements and create a response and contractual documents in collaboration with the Customers, Solution Architects, SMEs, Sales, Legal, and Commercial teams.
- Training Services RFPs: Basic knowledge of training services will be an added benefit to craft value-driven proposals based on inputs from the Customers.
Primary Skills
- Assist the Solution Architects and Project Managers with proposal preparation and commercial computation as per the defined templates following the style guide.
- Participate in kick-off sessions to understand the requirements, deliverables, and stakeholder mapping.
- Proven skills in proposal storyboarding, writing, and editing proposal content within a complex business environment.
- Modify proposal responses from various stakeholders, typically involving contributions from Project Managers, Customers, SMEs, Delivery, Sales, Legal, and Contract teams.
- Participate in key review meetings / final document review, content sign-off, and document production.
- Maintaining and safeguarding the repository of content and proposals submitted/being worked upon.
- Deliver completed written proposal responses to the Project Manager against agreed RFP deadlines, escalating issues as required.
- Assist the Project Manager in developing a proposal structure.
- Identify and re-work existing pre-written content where relevant.
- Present and tag all new proposal content to the knowledge base manager for potential re-use.
- Knowledge of proposal automation and writing software.
- Proofreading of content where needed and alignment with standard/prescribed templates.

- Good knowledge and hands-on experience with proposal writing.
- Experience in Sales, crafting value-proposition, win themes based on meeting outcomes.

- Completely flexible and mobile to travel globally, as required.
